I'm sure you have finished creating your website by now. If you need any help, just send me an email.

Now, today we will apply for an AdSense account. Google AdSense helps you make money from your website by placing small text ads on your site. The best part of it is that the ads are related to your website content, and whenever visitors click on the ads, you make money. How simple is
that :-D

Signing up for Google AdSense is as easy as applying for an email account.

You have to just fill up information like you name, email, postal address, and the website link. It will take two minutes for your to sign up.

Step 6: Build Your Website

Let's go on to today's task. Today, we will start creating your website. Apart from webspace, a good website builder is one of the most important investments you can make to earn money online.

Check out the website builder I recommend.

Now, for those who signed up for free webspace, check out if you have a page builder or site builder in your account. This will help you build your webpages.

When you build your website, remember these things:

- Keep the layout simple. This means no flashy graphics, no rotating images etc. This just distracts your reader and you will end up not making any money at all.

Make sure you have a good navigation menu. This means, users should be able to access your menu from all pages (This is one of the reasons I love my Website Builder, it automatically updates the menu whenever you add a new page to your website).

- Stick to one topic. Each website should have one topic and one topic only. If you start a site about gardening, don't jump over to sports or anything else by the third page.

- Create at least 25 pages. Next step is to apply for an AdSense account and you need a website with at least 25 pages to do that. So add at least 25 pages of content.

I have built all my websites using XSitePro, which is a bit expensive but of excellent quality. It takes care of everything related to website creation and I can use it as easily as I type a Microsoft Word document.

If you want a cheaper one with less features you can consider this website builder. This does not have all the special features of XSitePro and is not as easy to use. But you can create basic websites with this one.

Step 5: Find Content for Your Website

Here's a recap of what we have done till now:

- we selected a topic for your website
- signed up for a ClickBank ID
- signed up for a PayPal ID
- selected products we will promote on your website
- signed up for webspace
- made a rough draft of the content of the website

Whew! That's a lot acomplished in just a few days - way to go! :-)

So today, we are going to find the content for your website. Writing for the web is not difficult, write as you normally would - write short sentences and in simple language.

Since you picked up a topic that you are passionate about, you are the best person to write on the topic. Your energy and enthusiasm for the topic will show in your writing. But let's face it - not all of us have the time to write. So what can we do?

Don't despair - free content to your rescue. You can get lots of materials on the Internet which you can use for your website.

Now Remember - not all the material you see on the website is free to use. Most of it is copyright material and if you use any of that, you will get into trouble.

But you can also get copyright free material which are also available under these terms:
- public domain
- private label rights
- reprint rights

Articles with reprint rights can be published on your website as long as you put the author's name and resource box with it. Articles with private label rights can be published as it is, and you can even make changes to it.

Remember! Do not plagiarise! Copying from others' websites is a strict NO! However, there are certain sites which allow you to use their articles if you leave the author's name intact. That's not so bad, is it? The author gets some publicity and you get free content.

Step 4: Register for Webspace

Hows it going? I hope you have enjoyed my tips till now. If you have, then you will love what's going to come :-)

Now that you have a topic ready and also some products you can promote, let's start working on your website.

First of all, go and register for some webspace. A lot of people ask me whether they should go for free webspace or paid webspace, and this is what I tell them:

If you are new and are just starting out, go for free webspace. But remember to shift to paid hosting as soon as you can afford it. The reason is that all these free web hosting sites mention in their terms and conditions that the content on their sites is owned by them. This means, if you have a popular site, the free webhost can claim it is their content and strip you of all your income.

It sounds scary, but it is true - I have seen this happen to my friends. They worked so hard on their websites and one fine day, lost everything. So my advice, start with free webspace, but once you make money, the first investment should be on paid hosting.

And paid hosting is not very expensive. For $47 (Rs. 2250) a year, you can get webspace plus domains. Isn't your peace of mind and gurantee of income worth $47? If you want to check out affordable hosting, here's the link:

FIND BEST HOSTING FROM http://www.itophost.com

Well, let's get back to our task - so if you don't have a website and can't spare $47, register for free webspace. You can check out either geocities.com or 50webs.com.

While selecting a name for your website, try to think of something which will suit your topic. For example, if the topic is movies, the website could be movies.geocities.com.

Today's task - register your website and start thinking of content for your website. In my next email, I will tell you where you can get content for your website.

Step 3: Sign Up for Programs

So how have you been? Did you do your homework :-D I hope you did becoz there is more work for you today.

But we will keep it simple.... today, all you need to do is to sign up for a few IDs.

First, a ClickBank ID. ClickBank has a great affiliate program and some of the products in it's marketplace offer as much as 75% commissions. To earn affiliate commissions, you need to have a ClickBank ID.

Next, sign up for a Paypal account. Paypal helps you transfer money online without a credit card. You can use this money to buy stuff online and most affiliate programs pay only via Paypal.

Done? Wow that was fast :-)

You can now sign up for your first affiliate program - mine :-D

Now go over to the ClickBank Marketplace and look for products to promote. You can check it out at the ClickBank Mall.

Whew! That's a lot of work for today. Tell you what, note down at least 10 ebooks or software you can promote through ClickBank for your topic.
